Judging from the comments, Pete Mortensen struck a chord for quite a few of us in his post on Cult of Mac yesterday. Speaking just for myself, his observations definitely ring true. Between the which-Mac-should-I-buy? advice and answering iPhone questions (I don't own an iPhone), I've become the go-to guy for all things Apple in my admittedly small circle of friends and family. It seems like not so long ago I was explaining to gloating co-workers that Microsoft's $150 million "investment" in Apple was not a buy-out.
